Introduction to Geomorphic Assessment Tools
The Geomorphic Assessment Tools (GAT) is an open source package that is being developed to allow processing and assessment of cross-sectional and profile survey data. Users can use the interactive interface to specify alignment location(s). GAT projects filtered survey points onto an alignment for the assessment of hydraulic parameters and the display of two-dimensional cross-sections and profiles. Data may be imported from common text formats. Cross-sections and hydraulic parameters can be exported to common text formats for use in other applications. This presentation will provide an overview of the tool’s current workflow and functions and will discuss future development.
